From the witted mind of Bethany Wiggins, comes an action packed novel with lots of twists and turns including knowledge of what is truly happening with the plot.
This is the sequel to “Stung”, by Bethany Wiggins, which is set in Denver with little life remaining due to the known extinction of bees. The remaining life is separated by a wall, those in the wall are for sure safe from having any beast mutations and are resource efficient, while those outside the wall are scavenging for their life. Jacqui is one of those living outside the wall and is who the perspective of “Cured” is told from. It shows the journey of her and her friends from inside the wall looking for loved ones, the dangers that can occur, and a little bit of a love story between Jacqui and a new character named Kevin.
Those that loved “Stung”, and those that love dystopian books are sure to love this book, and since it is shown from a different perspective than “Stung”, and a lot of this that are key are re-explained, you don’t have to read this series in order (although I do highly recommend doing so if you can). 5 stars
