The Good Girl Complex, written by Elle Kennedy is a warm, sassy, and unforgettable read. It follows both Mackenzie, a sweet, wealthy girl and Cooper, a tattooed, troubled, “bad boy”. That meet at a bar on campus, not by luck but on purpose as a revenge act for Cooper. They fall in love, but it’s all based on a lie, the plan works out how Cooper and all his friends want until Cooper calls it off due to him not needing to pretend anymore. Mackenzie banter and sassy attitude had finally caught Cooper where it mattered, his heart. Once she finally feels safe everything comes crashing down. This unforgettable book can be read by teens and mature audiences. This does contain some mature content, so is more read by mature audiences alike. All in all, this fast paced, romance novel is a one to read and the loving characters don’t stop there. The sequel “Bad Girl Reputation” by Elle Kennedy is just as good as the first.
