From the experienced author by the name of Alex North, comes a meaningful story that you are on the brink of knowing everything until the very end.
This book has many different perspectives to allow the reader to know more information than any of the characters, but not reveal too much as to spoil the whole story. Throughout the story there is a kidnapper that takes inspiration from a previous well known kidnapper by the name of the “Whisper Man”. Throughout the multiple actions done by the kidnapper and the extra story of hardship with parenting alone, there is a thrilling plot that keeps you engaged. The only thing I disliked about this novel was how long it took me to get interested in the story, but once the action starts you cannot get your head out of the book.
Those with a want for a complex story could really enjoy this book, but if you don’t like the idea of gore, then you may want to stray away from “The Whisper Man”. 4 stars
